Father’s Day is the one day you get the official chance to express your appreciation which you neglect to express the rest of the year. Here at Ugandan Gold Coffee you have the chance this year to honor your dad with a gift of a goat or a chicken to a family in Uganda. Your gift is tax-deductible and your father will receive a card in your name detailing the gift.
Eventually the time will come when Dad is no longer around to receive your gratitude, but you can still honor his memory. The values he taught, the faith he had, the life he led can still be shared with others. This year I am honoring my father who passed away in 2000 with the gift of a goat for one of our farm families. I know that Dad is smiling down on the coffee project and is pleased that the values of faith, mission and giving are being passed along the generations. I am sending the card to my grandsons so they can know a little bit about their great-grandfather.
